Portage & District Recycling has just announced that they are a fully operational household hazardous waste depot. They will accept the following items at 700 Phillips St., Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Please DO NOT put these items on the curbside for pick-up.

- Fluorescent Light Bulbs
- Flammable Liquids (Gasoline/Paint Thinner)
- Pesticides
- Aerosol Cans (Hair Spray/Lysol cans/Febreze)
- Corrosive Liquids (Bleach/Drano
- Oxidizing Liquids
- Compressed Gas (Propane Tanks)
- Adhesives
- Fire Extinguishers
- Toxic Liquids (Lidocane Chloride)
